Bundesliga stadiums return to hosting full-capacity crowds just in time for Borussia Dortmund’s trip to the Rhein-Energie-Stadion against 1. FC Köln on Sunday.

After the Black and Yellows crept back into the title race, cutting Bayern Munich’s lead down to four points with a 1-0 midweek win against Mainz, the Westphalians are hoping for loud support in Cologne to make it three wins in a row.

“It’s great to see full stadiums again”, BVB coach Marco Rose said on Friday’s pre-match news conference, adding: “I especially anticipate the return of the ultra fan-groups. They will raise the noise levels even further”.

Around 50,000 fans will be expected to attend the Sunday evening match to boost the atmosphere under the floodlights.
